The Strata mint is closed. All 10,000 cores open together on Sunday 1 November at 9am NZT. Until then, bury your own day in rock and drill it back out.
Deposition schedule
View on OpenSeaOne hour. 100 cores set aside for the creator.
Allowlist first, then public. All 10,000 cores are minted, so no more will form.
A second collection for holders. Details after the reveal.
Opens Sun 1 Nov, 9am NZT.
Logging bench
Write what you did today. The things you mention land on the surface, eight beds of rock bury them, and the rig drills out a core. Test cores borrow Strata's look, not its recipe, and they are not part of the 10,000.

Strata log
Each bed gets a mineral, a grain and eight tones. Now and then one traps a fossil. Hover a row to light that bed on the rig.

Sealed cores
Every Strata looks like this until the reveal. Art, traits and rarity open for all 10,000 cores at the same moment, so nobody gets an early look.

Rankings, fossil counts and the seed recipe open with the reveal. They are not hidden in this page. They are not in it at all, so there is nothing to dig out of the source.
How many cores each of the 16 minerals dominates, from most common to rarest.
Bars are scrambled noise until the reveal.
carry at least one fossil. Which ones, and which fossil each holds, stays sealed.
One core in 10,000 holds two fossils. It is Strata #.
The single line that grows every core. Once it is published, anyone can rebuild any Strata from its number.
Field notes
Strata is 10,000 core samples of digital sediment. Each one grows from a single seed, and once the recipe is published at the reveal, anyone can rebuild any core from it.

Reference tray
Each bed is one of 16 minerals, shaded across eight tones by its grain. Fossils are 3×3 bone-coloured glyphs: four from deep time and four from our time, sitting in the same rock.
